In her latest quest to reveal President Obama’s “true” birthplace and have him removed from office, birther queen Orly Taitz has filed motions trying to combine her lawsuits with one filed by several attorneys general challenging the constitutionality of health care reform.
In a motion to intervene filed in a Florida court this week, Taitz asked to be added to the health care lawsuit with the attorneys general.
“It is readily apparent that Dr. Taitz is an interested party in this litigation,” the motion reads. “Dr. Taitz as a medical provider has a direct and immediate interest in this present lawsuit, and this interest will not be fully protected by the present parties.”
Last week the O.C. Weekly reported that Taitz filed a similar motion in a D.C. court, to combine her lawsuit against Obama with the one by the attorneys general. The paper highlighted one passage in particular:
At the end it might be a stroke of providence that this unconstitutional bill was signed into law by an ineligible President, and that these responsive pleadings were submitted for consideration only a few days before the day of the ancient holiday of Passover, which celebrates freedom from bondage and usurpation.
Taitz had earlier amended her lawsuit to include a challenge to the health care bill under the commerce clause of the Constitution. In the amendment, she claims Obama offered Sen. Ben Nelson (D-NE) “an infinity amount of dollars de facto bribe” to sign the bill.
